The ASICS GEL-RESOLUTION® 5 comes from a time when performance tennis shoes started getting properly technical-looking: layered builds, visible support systems and shapes that somehow feel even better now than they did back then.

Originally released in 2013, the silhouette returns straight from the ASICS tennis archive with most of its original character still intact. The layered upper and reinforced vamp keep that structured court-shoe look, while the TPU heel cage adds the kind of support-heavy detailing that made performance models from this era so good visually.

What changes things now is the comfort. Updated with FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning underfoot, the shoe feels softer, lighter and way more wearable for everyday use than most archive tennis models usually do. Rearfoot GEL® cushioning is still there too, keeping that familiar ASICS ride underneath.
